Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every Philippians Academic Advising purchase. Buying any service means you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, email admin@philippiansconsulting.com before you buy, and we will explain it plainly.

Payment and scheduling

How buying and booking work.

Payment is processed through Stripe at the time of booking. Klarna is available at checkout on larger purchases, subject to Klarna's approval and your country.
Sessions are scheduled in Setmore. No session begins before payment is confirmed.
All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, credits, or complimentary sessions. Any goodwill exception is entirely at admin's discretion and comes from admin alone.
Unused deliverables expire twelve months from the date of purchase.
We do not offer score, interview, or admission guarantees on any service, at any price, in writing or in conversation.

Tutoring and Score Analysis Sessions

Hours, logging, and your progress sessions.

Tutoring hours are deducted against the scheduled duration of each session, in fifteen-minute increments.
You have seven days from a session to dispute a logged hour. After seven days the log stands as final. If you want to dispute an hour, email admin rather than your tutor.
Bundles of ten hours and up include Score Analysis Sessions, which usually fall at every tenth tutoring session. Each is a 30-minute live session reviewing your data and adjusting your plan.
You are responsible for booking your own Score Analysis Sessions in Setmore. They are not scheduled for you.

Written audits and secondaries

Turnarounds, batches, and word caps.

Personal statement and full application audits are returned within seven business days of our receiving all of your materials.
Secondary essay audits are returned within seven business days of each batch, at every tier.
If you bought a secondary essay audit on its own, you may send essays in up to three submission batches within 60 days of purchase. Each batch starts its own turnaround clock.
Covenant and Covenant Complete clients are not on that clock. Your secondary audits run through 31 October of the cycle you bought for, in up to three submission batches, inside your tier's word cap.
Word caps are measured on what you actually submit, not on what you plan to submit.
If your secondary essays run past your tier's word cap, we contact you before doing anything. Words over the cap are billed at 40 cents per word. Nothing is dropped and nothing is charged without telling you first.
We do not write your essays for you on an audit. We mark what is working and what to fix, with a reason on every red mark, and you keep the pen.

Cosmos and application drafting

Your application stays your own work.

Cosmos is a hands-on drafting partnership: we run the interviews, choose the angle with you, and work your primary alongside you draft after draft. You write your application, in your own voice, and you are responsible for certifying it as your own work to AMCAS, TMDSAS, or AACOMAS. We shape and strengthen what you write; we do not submit or certify anything on your behalf.

Live sessions

Timing, lateness, and interruptions.

Sessions end at the scheduled end time. Running up to fifteen minutes over is not billed to you and is not credited back.
To extend a session by more than fifteen minutes, you must authorize the change in writing, either by reply email from the address on your purchase or through our authorization form. A verbal yes on the call is not enough.
If you arrive late, the full scheduled duration is still deducted. If you have not joined within fifteen minutes and have not contacted us, the session is logged as a no-show.
If your advisor is more than fifteen minutes late or does not appear, your full session time is restored at no cost, your makeup session includes thirty additional complimentary minutes, and admin will contact you within one business day. You have seven days to report it.
If a session is cut short by a technical failure on our side and cannot be resumed, the undelivered time is restored to your balance in fifteen-minute increments. Problems with your own equipment or connection are not credited.

Recordings and materials

What gets recorded, and who owns what.

Neither you nor your advisor may record a session without the prior written consent of both parties. For mock interviews, we may prompt you to record yourself on your own device; we do not store that recording.
Interview Immersion is the one exception: you consent at purchase to audio recording and AI-assisted transcript analysis. Audio only, the transcript is retained, and the recording is deleted after the final report.
Materials we prepare for you remain the intellectual property of Philippians and are licensed to you for your own preparation only.
Your information is confidential. We do not discuss your score, application, or personal details with anyone outside your assigned team.
