Interview stage · Year round
You have spent two years learning to write about yourself and about forty minutes learning to talk about yourself. Then a stranger asks why medicine and you hear your own voice say something you do not recognize. A mock is where you find that out, instead of finding it out at the school you wanted most.
How it runs
You send us your submitted AMCAS 48 hours ahead. The questions are built from it, which means you get asked about the research you did in 2024 and the gap in your timeline and the activity you wrote 700 characters about and have not thought about since. Generic question lists are free on Reddit. They are not what catches you out in the room.
You send your submitted application. Your interviewer reads it properly and builds 8 to 12 questions from what is actually in it.
Traditional format, conducted straight. You record it on your own device, because the single most useful thing in this whole process is watching yourself answer.
A scored rubric across six dimensions, plus the three things to fix first, in priority order. Not a list of forty notes you will never work through.
We run traditional interviews only. We do not offer MMI. If your school list is heavy on multiple mini interview formats, a mock with us will still help your storytelling and your delivery, but it is not practice for that specific format and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
What gets scored
Every mock at every tier is scored the same way, which is what makes a second one worth doing: you can see the number move rather than trying to remember whether you felt better.
Pick a tier
Your first one should be this. Get the shape of it wrong somewhere that does not count.
Run by an advisor who has served on an admissions committee, and prepped for one named school on your list.
A Professional mock, then a Standard re-do two weeks later. The point is the gap between them.
About that verdict. The Professional evaluation ends by saying whether, on that performance, the interviewer would recommend you. A stranger is going to write one of those about you for real, and you get to read the practice one first.
Three interviews
A Professional mock before each of your first three real interviews, each prepped for that specific school, with transcript analysis across all three: how often you fill silence, whether your answers get longer as you get tired, which experiences you reach for under pressure, and whether your strongest material ever actually leaves your mouth. Then one synthesis report, and a review of your thank-you notes.
It runs alongside a Guardian Angel Post-AMCAS report, which is why it opens when Guardian Angel does.
Before you buy
Ten days to three weeks. Closer than a week and you will not have time to change anything, which turns useful feedback into anxiety. Much further out and you lose the sharpness.
If your interview is in four days, book anyway and tell us. We will focus the whole session on the two or three things you can still fix.
An advisor who has served on an admissions committee at their school and scored real applicants. That is the credential you are paying the premium for, and we use it only where it is genuinely true.
You do, on your own device, and you keep it. We do not hold your recording. The one exception is Interview Immersion, where transcript analysis is the product, and that has its own consent at purchase.
