MCAT tutoring

You have watched the videos, you have done the cards, and your practice score has not moved in six weeks. At that point the problem is almost never content. It is that nobody has watched you work a passage and told you what you are doing wrong while you do it.

What comes with the hours

The sessions are the smaller half of it.

Anybody can sell you hours. What decides your score is what happens in the hundred hours a week you are not with a tutor, which is why the written parts come with every bundle of ten hours and up.

Pick a block

The more hours you buy, the less each one costs.

The rate falls from $99 an hour down to a floor just under $70, some of the best rates in the industry.

How many hours a week can you actually do? We suggest no more than five tutoring hours in a week, so buy the block that fits the weeks you have left. If you sit the MCAT in two weeks, ten hours is the most we would suggest. With more time than that, the larger blocks are yours to schedule however you like.

Scroll the table sideways to see every column.

Twenty hours is where most people land, because it is roughly one session a week across a standard study block and it is the first tier with two Score Analysis Sessions, which means somebody checks whether the plan is working halfway through rather than at the end.

Also worth knowing

If you are also applying this cycle, do not buy hours alone.

Covenant is twenty of these hours plus your whole primary application: timeline planning, the statement audit, the full application audit, and secondary essays. It costs $1,999, which is $480 more than the twenty hours by themselves and includes $656 of application work.

Before you buy

The questions we actually get.

How many hours do I actually need?

It depends on the gap between where you are and where you need to be, and on how much time is left. Someone six points short with four months is a different purchase from someone two points short with six weeks.

This is the single best reason to use the free consultation. We would rather sell you ten hours that work than thirty you do not finish.

How do the AAMC materials fit in?

You buy them from AAMC at their price, and we build the schedule for when and how to use them. That scheduling is where a tutor adds something a shop cannot.

Who is tutoring me?

An MCAT content tutor who scored well on this exam recently enough to remember it. Our tutor average right now is a 516.

How long do my hours last?

Twelve months from purchase. If your test moves, your hours move with it.

Bring your last practice score.

Fifteen minutes. Tell us your current score, your target, and your test date, and we will tell you roughly how many hours that gap needs. If the honest answer is that you need more time rather than more tutoring, that is what you will hear.
